Right now it’s 9:18 AM. I haven’t slept, as usual before I take flights. My plane is at 1230; boarding is around noon. I will leave Boston for winter break for (perhaps) the 3rd and penultimate time.
The end of semesters always make me feel a little sad. My usual poison: 1 part academic failure, 1 part passage of time, occasionally a dash of heartbreak.
However, this time around, maybe I won’t be so sad. I’m definitely feeling like the corners of my mind are being stretched thin by some nerve-wreaking monstrosity, but perhaps this monster is friendly.
I guess to put this semester in review, here is a list of things I remember:
1. extended birthday weekend
2. getting my backpack stolen
3. injuring my knee at session in November
4. injuring my wrist at United Styles right before battling
5. the first time i ever graded psets and had to pull an all-nighter in like the first week of school
6. meeting/hanging out with new nublets
7. hanging out with the rest of the crew
8. a flowork thanksgiving
9. mad dashing through finals period/final project
10. getting drawn on; being angry
11. utopia/other moments of fondness
12. strummin da geetar
13. cs50 mondays
14. cs175 weekends
15. ls friday nights
16. phyx all the other days
17. watching south park to fall asleep

22. calling out geo from instant noodles and getting smoked
23. going up
24. being a virtual guest

26. internal dances of joy every time i finished a cs pset
27. drinking way too much caffeine and having hypertension level blood pressure

junior fall was great. can’t believe it’s over already, but it’s time to go home. see y’all on the otherside!
